Dublin Past & Present

In this new and exciting tour we discover some new and interesting attractions in the heart of vibrant Dublin, all of which explore the rich social history of the area. The Irish Immigration Museum and The Liberties Distillery are both new attractions which combine state of the art technology with good ol’ Irish storytelling. A cemetery may seem an unusual place to visit, but Glasnevin is a true sight to behold and a must for anyone exploring their ancestry in Dublin, or those interested in the lives of those laid to rest here, from the ordinary to the extraordinary! The historic GPO has a rich history and it was headquarters of the 1916 Easter Rising which eventually led to the creation of the Irish Republic. A guided tour of the exhibition here takes us on a journey through modern Irish history.

This afternoon we call into new attraction Dublin Liberties Distillery. Opened in 2018, this working Irish Whiskey distillery combines traditional distillation with the latest technology. Guests will be guided through the full production process and the tour will obviously culminate in the Tasting Bar – the best part! – with some other opportunities to taste along the tour route!
