An Update From Us On Covid-19
It's not been a Spring that any of us wanted, but we hope that you and your loved ones are staying safe and well during these times.
We've been working hard to introduce many added measures ahead of us getting the green light to reopen with us currently at the stage of finalising these new protocols.
Of course alI this has been done with the safety of our Staff and Customers at our upmost priority which does mean a number of changes are being made.
Below you will find the things we’re doing to help you make new bookings, and amendments.
We are offering a Video Call Booking Service where our customers can contact us to book an appointment and one of our friendly travel advisors will happily assist you through a video call. This is a perfect option for those wishing to make their booking on a personal level and whilst seeing a friendly face from the team.
Of course as we have been throughout this pandemic, we are operating a normal service via telephone and will remain doing so. So if your comfortable in placing your booking or amending your booking by telephone, we are open normal hours for you to do so. Telephone lines are open 9am to 17.30pm Monday to Saturday.

* Telephone lines are busier than usual, but we will be with you as quickly as we can
* Our friendly team are ready to assist you with your existing or new bookings
BOOKINGS IN PERSON
As a temporary measure when we initially have the green light to return to our business premises, we will be operating a closed door policy, customers will be able to visit to book or amend their existing bookings but this will be on an appointment only basis. we intend to do this to help in providing the same great service we always have when ensuring we stick to the welsh governments rules.
* If you’d like to visit us to complete your booking or amend a booking in person, you can be assured that safety screens will be installed at both our premises. We will only be allowing one customer into the store at any given time and visits will be by appointment only.
* You can book your appointment upto 14 days in advance by telephoning our friendly team
* You’ll be given a hour time slot to visit the store
* Hand sanitiser products will be available for you upon entry
As soon as we have an update on a date for us to reopen our shop we will start taking appointments for customers to visit.
We as a company have introduced many flexible options for our customers to benefit from with any new bookings, including later balance due dates, and free amendments. Further details can be found on our website or of course by calling us.
LATEST TRAVEL NEWS
We have taken the decision to suspend travel on all our tours up to 1st July 2020, this is a decision which has been made in the best interest of our customers following government guidance. We are in the process of contacting all customers.
⚠️ FOR CUSTOMERS DUE TO DEPART 2ND JULY - 30TH JULY
These holidays and short breaks are at present still operating as planned. Excluding cancelled events. For all other holidays and short breaks falling between these dates we can also offer you two additional options.
Option 1 - We have reduced our balance due dates to 4 weeks before departure (from 8 weeks) this option is ideal should you wish to stick with your original date.
Option 2 - Or if you would like to transfer your booking to a future date we can do this free of charge. You can look at all of our holidays at www.travelwithmatthew.com
FOR CUSTOMERS DUE TO DEPART 31st JULY ONWARDS - at present these holidays are planned to depart as normal, and Normal terms and conditions apply, remaining balances must be paid on time to avoid cancellation of your tour.
Our Suppliers are taking all the necessary steps to welcome you with their usual charm as soon as the current situation is over and the world begins to return to normality once again.
We as a company are continuing to monitor the situation on a daily basis and want you to know that although we are operating remotely , we do remain fully functional and available should you need us, whether you're after some advice, want to find out more about our destinations or want to make a new booking using our new flexible terms and conditions of course we can be contacted by email, telephone or a message here.
Last but not least, I would like to say a big thank you to all our customers for how understanding you have been with changing dates and for your lovely messages to us, firstly your helping our small business stay strong, and secondly, you will get the great holiday you have been promised at a different date.

Introducing Travel With Matthew’s Flexible Booking Option
We understand that the Coronovirus (COVID-19) is causing a great deal of uncertainty and concern for many of our customers, with a massive hike in calls, and cancellations due to this terrible virus.
As a result, we have put many added measures in place to ensure you can keep your confidence in us at this time. This will give you all the information you need based on our response, and how to keep yourself as safe as possible when on one of Travel with Matthew’s Great Holidays or Day Trips!
In addition, we have introduced a Flexible Booking Option which relaxes some of our terms and conditions in order to give you Added flexibility should COVID-19 prevent you from travelling as you planned to do.
Our Flexible Booking Option is effective immediately.
The details on this are as follows:
1. If you give us at least 3 weeks notice, we will allow you to transfer to a Travel with Matthew holiday or mini break without any charges. Please be advised this will not include day trips, or any theatre breaks due to the purchase of tickets, unless the show is cancelled.
2. We will also allow you to receive a Voucher, which is the best option should you not be ready to set a date for your next holiday.
3. If you wanted to transfer your holiday across to Friends or Family, we have also removed all NAME CHANGE CHARGES on any tour with more than 72 hours notice.

To Qualify for the above, you must meet all of the below criteria.
Our Normal Terms and Conditions Policy will remain to apply on all circumstances other than Covid-19
As you will understand travel insurance has never been more valuable than right now.
